March Break 2024, “The one where we can’t believe it’s already been a year since the last one”!
Looking for something for the kids to do (or for you to do with the kids) in Norfolk County? We put in the time scouring online so you don’t have to. Here are some (mostly) local options for you to add to your calendar, as the Teachers get a much deserved break from March 11-15, with a weekend on either end.

We can’t say enough for this incredible program offered right here in Norfolk County! These opportunities for social time for our extraordinary friends exists all year through but they are also having some March Break fun. 🦁

Lighthouse Theatre
Yes, it's January BUT it's still never too early to think about how to entertain your children during March Break! You're in luck because we've got just the thing. Lighthouse Festival and Dufflebag Theatre present The Three Musketeers & Beauty and the Beast from March 12th to 14th, 2024 in Port Dover & Port Colborne. Dress up as your favourite fairytale character and laugh along with everyone, especially because YOU may be part of the story!

Nature’s Calling Environmental Education
Nature’s Calling’s mission is “to connect youth and families with nature and the outdoors, to raise awareness and appreciation for our natural world, and to foster a strong environmental ethic through community-based education and engagement”. Our March Break Camp is back! Each day starts with a gathering circle to plan our day. This is followed by activities that combine plenty of games, crafts, exploration and free play with our experienced staff. At the end of the day we gather again around a campfire to talk about our favourite part of the day.
Ages 4-10 are welcome and the program runs from 9-4 from March 11-14th for a maximum of 30 campers. Click HERE to register!
Sayza Kids Yoga Camp
At camp, we begin each day with a meditation practice and from there, move into a day full of confidence-building games, team-building exercises and creative fun - all of which are centered around healthy bodies and minds through yoga. Every day has a theme: some days we focus on kindness or self love, other days we focus on our digestive system, very basic yoga philosophy or posture alignment. The theme is weaved in throughout the day from our craft time, outside games and even into snack time! We learn not only how to work together, help and respect one another, but also how to work alone and love and respect ourselves. Our campers favorite time of the day is relaxation and meditation, where camp counselors come around with essential oils, eye pillows.
We make sure to send your little ones home to you balanced, grounded and happy!

March Break Art Camp - Port Rowan
MARCH BREAK 5 DAY ART CAMP
*****MARCH 11 - 15 - 2024*****
Cost is $35 per child - $175 per week, ages 7 to 12 and maximum 10 kids per class. In a "public link" I will upload each day of photos of kids (with signed permissions) creating their art in class along with a group photo. We will be doing a different themed art daily, age appropriate and fun along with some colorful crafts if there is time. Each child will receive a slice of pizza and juice, some snacks through the day and we will have a cake at the end of the week!! It will be similar to summer art camp except we will have a different theme daily focusing on some fun winter and spring inspired art. I will upload daily activities in this event section for this specific week.

PDHM, WHAM and Delhi Tobacco Museum are all offering drop-in programming for March Break. Wednesday-Friday afternoons from 1pm-3pm.

Our theme “Spring into Action” includes lots of active games; outdoor fun, spring crafts, hikes and special guests.
Weekly registration is available for campers age 4 to 12 years. Camp days are planned around a theme led by energetic staff. Bring your positive attitude!

Canadian Safety Council Babysitter Training Course
For youth who are 12 years old or turning 12 within six months of the end of the course. Attendance for both days is mandatory. Grade of 75% on the final exam required to receive certificate. Topics include caring for children from three months to school-aged, handling emergencies and prevention and Basic First Aid.

SOS 4 Kids! Home Alone Safety Program
The program helps children and their families get ready for their child’s first steps towards independence and being without adult supervision for short periods of time. Suited for children aged 9 to 12. Topics include street smarts and bike safety, preventing accidents and Basic First Aid skills.
