Our farmers supply more fruits and vegetables to Canada’s dinner tables and restaurants than anywhere else in the country. Norfolk County is Canada’s top grower of asparagus, cabbage, cucumber, ginseng, peanuts, peppers, strawberries, sweet corn and sweet potatoes.

Norfolk County’s most popular tourist attractions are the ports, towns and villages along Lake Erie, known as Ontario’s South Coast. These towns include Port Dover, Turkey Point and Long Point. Fishing is another key attraction for tourists, as well as birding, hiking, camping and cycling.

Agri-tourism is another expanding attraction for tourists coming to Norfolk County, with several wineries and craft breweries. There are numerous farmgate retailers, now featured on the official map.
